White Jade and Gold Bangle Bracelet

The  bangle is carved from a piece of white jadeite jade with the loveliest texture and remarkably even coloration. Jade is a mineral known for its excellent toughness (resistance to breakage) due to its structure composed of interlocking small crystals. The jade is carved into two half rings, which are linked by a 14 karat gold capped hinge on one side and box clasp with a safety chain on the other. Very easy to put on and take off with one hand. Fastens very securely. Has a terrific weight - present, but not too substantial - when worn.
