An antique brooch in the form of an arrow. The head and fletching portions of the brooch are fashioned from silver, with lovely metal chase work. The shaft of the arrow is carved banded agate in a beautiful deep orangey red hue with slightly translucent bands crossing the shaft. The piece tests as silver, with the exception of a portion of the hinge element which looks to be brass; please see photos for details. Fastens with c-clasp.

Measures 64.1mm long (approximately 2.5”) and 18.8mm wide (approximately 0.75”)
Very good vintage condition. Silver is a soft metal and antique pieces can show wear more easily than similar designs fashioned in gold. While freshly polished, the brooch maintains the rich patina typical of silver jewels this age.
