Tanzanite and Gold Earrings

Tanzanite is an extraordinarily unique gemstone. First mined in Tanzania in 1967, it is beloved for its rarity and unique violet-blue color range, which can vary depending on the axis in which the crystal is faceted. Tanzanite is trichroic, meaning it displays one of three different colors depending on which angle it is viewed from. These earrings feature two pear-shaped faceted tanzanite gems, set in radiant 14 karat yellow gold post-style settings and come complete with 14k friction backs.
