A gorgeous silver necklace comprised of a series of concave shield-shaped links, joined at the backs by silver rings to form a collar. This piece sits higher on the neck, with a lovely presence and weight (substantial, but not heavy or uncomfortable.) Each silver link is the same size, and hand-formed to a hollow shape which beautifully reflects light. The links are articulated for easy movement. This piece is wonderfully sturdy in its construction. Originally fabricated in Mexico and stamped as such. This necklace has been freshly polished but some of the lovely patina (which silver jewelry naturally acquires over its lifetime) remains.
