A radiant pair of 10 karat golden hoop earrings, complete with dangling pearl drops. These huggie-style vintage hoops cradle the earlobe and make a nice everyday earring with a small but impactful profile. Earrings have a hinge at the base of the hoop and lever back style closure at the top. Pearls are genuine round cultured pearls, well-matched, with a white body color, good luster and slight green/gold overtones. Prior to the advent of the pearl culturing industry in the early 20th century, pearls were the rarest and most highly valued gem on earth - hundreds of years ago, they were considered more precious than diamonds! These are a lovely staple jewel for any collection.
