A gorgeous and elegant pair of pearl earrings. These feature drop-shaped pearls suspended from French wires which are fashioned from gold. Pearls are genuine cultured pearls, well-matched, with a white body color, good luster and slight pinkish violet overtones. Prior to the advent of the pearl culturing industry in the early 20th century, pearls were the rarest and most highly valued gem on earth - hundreds of years ago, they were considered more precious than diamonds! These are a lovely staple jewel for any collection.
