Lovely and unusual pearl and diamond earrings - each pearl post has a small diamond inset at the center. The pearls are a cream color with warm, slightly pinkish overtones and medium luster. The earrings have a post style setting and come with friction backs. These are a perfect staple piece for any jewelry collection, and a lovely size. Prior to the advent of the pearl culturing industry in the early 20th century, pearls were the rarest and most highly valued gem on earth - hundreds of years ago, they were considered more precious than diamonds!
