A beautiful antique gold pendant features an oval shaped moonstone cabochon.The gem is bezel set in 14 karat gold, with a wide, textured frame surrounding the bezel. Moonstone is one of the birthstones for the month of June. It is treasured as a gem for the phenomenon of adularescence which it displays. This can be seen in the way the gem scatters light (like moonlight behind a cloud!) This jewel has been converted from a stickpin to hang as a pendant on a 14 karat gold bail. Comes on an 18” gold-filled cable chain which fastens with a spring ring style clasp.

Pendant: 21.6mm long (including bail,) 10.5mm wide and 4.2mm thick. Moonstone cabochon measures 8mm x 6mm. Chain: 18” long.
