A classic strand of knotted pearls with a golden clasp. These pearls are a lovely size, in perfect proportion with their matinee length. They have a warm cream color, with slightly pinkish overtones. Knotted on matching cream colored silk cord and finished with a 14 karat gold fishhook clasp. Prior to the advent of the pearl culturing industry in the early 20th century, pearls were the rarest and most highly valued gem on earth - hundreds of years ago, they were considered more precious than diamonds! A pearl necklace remains a perfect staple piece for every jewelry collection.
