A pair of teardrop shaped mabe pearl post earrings featuring two lovely white mabe pearls framed in a thin bezel of 14 karat gold. The proportions and minimalist design of these vintage earrings make them really striking, yet perfect for everyday wear. Mabe pearls are not a true pearl - they are also known as a “blister” pearl and are formed as part of an attachment on the shell of a mollusk. These are a warm white hue with lovely orient (rainbow iridescence.) Earrings secure with 14k gold friction backs.
