A pair of large and lovely oval shaped mabe pearl post earrings featuring two lovely white mabe pearls framed in a bezel of 14 karat gold. The proportions and minimalist design of these vintage earrings make them really striking, and their lightweight composition and comfortable, stable backs allow them to be perfectly suited for everyday wear. Mabe pearls are not a true pearl - they are also known as a “blister” pearl and are formed as part of an attachment on the shell of a mollusk. These are a warm white hue with lovely orient. Earrings secure with 14k gold posts and hinged omega-style backs.
