Lavender Jade Fan Necklace

A sweet and playful pendant necklace. Comprised of a polished jadeite jade carving of a slightly opened fan set in a 14 karat yellow gold cap and bail. Jade is a mineral known for its excellent toughness (resistance to breakage) due to its structure composed of interlocking small crystals. This jade has a soft lavender hue evocative of spring lilacs. The pendant hangs on a gold-filled cable chain, which fastens with a spring ring style clasp.
