Lapis and Silver Ring

A gorgeous marquise shaped lapis lazuli cabochon is centered in a minimalist sterling silver setting, creating a ring that is striking in its simplicity. Lapis lazuli is a hard stone gem known for its vivid, deep blue hue. This specimen is dotted with one of lapis’ best known inclusions: pyrite. The way the pyrite displays on this jewel - scattered silver pinpoints - gives this lapis the beautiful impression of a night sky. The lapis is framed by a silver bezel with split shoulders.

Central lapis cabochon measures 19.0mm tall and 10.0mm wide. Setting rises 7.0mm off the finger. At back of ring, narrowest part of ring shank measures 3.2mm.
