A jade saddle ring is one of the jewelry items that lives rent free in my head. The style gets its name from the manner in which an elongated cabochon resembles the seat of a saddle. This is a fine example with a medium green jadeite jade gem set in 18 karat gold. The design of the ring is sleek and modern and the jade is cradled in a gold bezel. Jade is a mineral known for its excellent toughness (resistance to breakage) due to its structure composed of interlocking small crystals. The design and composition of this ring make it ideal for daily wear.

Jade cabochon measures 17.5mm wide and 7.2mm tall. Setting rises 3.5mm off the finger, measures 7.6mm wide at top. At back of ring, narrowest part of ring shank measures 3.3mm.

Ring size between a 7.5 / UK size P. If needed, this ring may be sized either up or down a few sizes by your jeweler.
