An elegant pair of earrings comprised of star shaped 14k gold posts, each set with a round brilliant diamond, below which balance light green jadeite jade drops. Jade is a mineral known for its excellent toughness (resistance to breakage) due to its structure composed of interlocking small crystals. This pair of earrings is fashioned from jadeite, which is a variety of jade. The post and setting are 14 karat gold and come with 14k friction backs.

Posts measure 8.7mm in diameter, jade drop elements measure 6.8mm wide and 18.5mm long; earrings in total measure 30.2mm long. Diamonds are approximately 0.025 carats each for a total approximate weight of 0.05 carats in both earrings.
