A vintage pair of verdant jade and 10 karat gold hoop earrings. Nice, chunky hoops are a covetable and easy jewelry staple and these are special ones, crafted of two semi-circles of the loveliest light green jadeite jade. Jade is a mineral known for its excellent toughness (resistance to breakage) due to its structure composed of interlocking small crystals. These earrings are secured by a 10k gold cap on either edge of the jade ring, linked by a hinged, curved ear-wire that fastens in a U-shaped catch.
