A gorgeous drop-style pendant necklace featuring a polished, elongated jadeite jade “drop” set in a 14 karat yellow gold cap and bail. Jade is a mineral known for its excellent toughness (resistance to breakage) due to its structure composed of interlocking small crystals. This jade has a soft and subtle, pale green color evocative of the earliest days of spring. The pendant hangs on a gold-filled cable chain, which fastens with a spring ring style clasp.
