Graduated Diamond and Platinum Ring

A charming antique diamond band, fashioned in platinum and featuring a graduated row of seven natural transition cut diamonds. Transition cut diamonds hail from a period of time when technology in diamond cutting was rapidly improving, leading from the common use of Old European Cuts to modern Brilliant Cuts. Transition cuts sit somewhere in the middle of this –more precise than the hand-cut Old Europeans, but not as developed as the modern Brilliants which were to come. The diamonds are well matched in color and face up beautifully.

The inside of the band has a script inscription of initials: A.T.B. - D.S. With its low profile, this ring is very wearable and would make a great solo engagement ring or wedding band, or a deserving part of a treasured ring stack.

Band measures 3.9mm at widest, 1.3mm at narrowest.

Approximately 0.21 carats of diamonds, E-F in color and VS-SI in clarity.

Ring size between a 6.75 and 7 / UK size N1/2-O. If needed, this ring may be sized either up or down a few sizes by your jeweler.
