Gold Quatrefoil Earrings

A luxe pair of gold and mother of pearl earrings depicting a quatrefoil motif. The quatrefoil is an ancient symbol whose name means “four leaves” and which can frequently be found in ancient art and heraldry. These delightful earrings light up the lobe and make for a classic, yet unexpected, everyday earring. The gold settings frame and cradle two tablets of white mother of pearl shell, which has a radiant, iridescent appearance with slightly pink undertones. The mother of pearl is not inlaid flush, but set slightly below the gold, allowing for some dimension which adds visual interest. The posts are screw style, with a flat cap end. To put on, simply match the cap to the back of the post and screw on until it is tight - the end cap does not have a hole in it to thread the post through, and I have found that for me, the earrings fit perfectly at the fully-affixed setting.
