A sleek and modern pair of 14 karat yellow gold and malachite hoop earrings. Each earring is carved from a single crescent shaped piece of malachite, with a narrow band of yellow gold running lengthwise across the front of the hoops’ curve. Beautiful malachite is known for natural color banding in multiple hues of green and for curved, straight and botryoidal (round clustered) patterns which occur naturally during the formation of this material. The stones are well-matched, with their patterns a near mirror-image with slight variations. The earrings have a post style setting and fasten with omega-style backs.

Each earring measures 21.8mm tall and 8.7mm wide.

Excellent condition. Omega backs have a small bit of epoxy reinforcing their connection at the back of each earring. This is not visible when worn.
