A wonderfully crafted, heavy gold signet ring featuring an intaglio carving of a greyhound dog running below the wide-spread boughs of an oak tree. Rings such as this are often heavy in symbolism, representing family lines, virtues and shared values and this is no exception! Oak trees in jewelry can represent strength, wisdom, nobility and longevity. The greyhound dog represents loyalty, faithfulness and -again- nobility. While more details about the provenance and history of the ring is unknown, these are fine qualities that I’m certain a new owner will appreciate and embody.

Signet intaglio measures 13.8mm tall and 11.2mm wide. Setting rises 1.8mm off the finger. At back of ring, narrowest part of ring shank measures 3.5mm.

Ring size 5.75 / UK L 1/2. If needed, this ring may be sized either up or down a few sizes by your jeweler.
