The perfect everyday pearl earrings. Each earring consists of a medium sized gold post set slightly above a slightly larger in size pearl via a golden cap affixed to the back of each pearl. Pearls are a cream color with warm, slightly golden overtones and medium luster. The earrings have a post style setting and come with friction backs. These are a perfect staple piece for any jewelry collection, and a lovely size. Prior to the advent of the pearl culturing industry in the early 20th century, pearls were the rarest and most highly valued gem on earth - hundreds of years ago, they were considered more precious than diamonds!
