A sleek and modern pair of gold and malachite earrings. Each earring is centered with an oversized, oval-shaped malachite, featuring curved banding in shades of light and vivid green. Beautiful malachite is known for natural color banding in multiple hues of green and for curved, straight and botryoidal (round clustered) patterns which occur naturally during the formation of this material. The stones are well-matched, with their patterns a near mirror-image with slight variations. Each cabochon is set in a simple gold bezel frame. The earrings have a post style setting and fasten with omega-style backs.
