Giampaoli Scorpio Zodiac Pendant Necklace

A rare and collectible 18 karat yellow gold pendant necklace in the motif of a double-sided coin. One side depicts a scorpion surrounded by stars with the text “Giampaoli” at the bottom. The signature represents master Italian medalist, Pietro Giampaoli, who was made chief engraver of the Italian Mint in 1936. The reverse depicts the Roman gods Victory and Helios with a chariot and horses. Scorpio is the zodiac sign of those born between October 23rd and November 21st. People born under this sign are known for being intelligent, loyal, independent, determined and enigmatic. Signed and hallmarked Giampaoli for UnoAErre. Circa 1970s.
