Two large and lovely oval-shaped faceted red garnet gems are each bezel set in a wide, domed 14 karat yellow gold post setting, complete with 14k gold friction backs. Garnet is part of a family of gems that come in a rainbow of hues, however it is most famous for the red varieties. These garnets are quite lovely: eye clean with a rich, wine-red color possessing flashes of deep, earthy red. Garnet is the birthstone for the month of January and the gemstone of the second wedding anniversary.
