A darling and petite pair of 14 karat gold earrings. The earrings have a crescent shape with faceted diamond-shaped faces across the sides and bottoms of the hoops. This style of earring is often called a “Creole Hoop.” Bearing an origin in New Orleans, this design was crafted and produced by Black Creole populations with African ancestry. The popularity of this style spread and is enduring across many cultures. They are hollow and fasten with a hinged, domed catch which fits into an opening at the opposite side.
