Forever classic! A diamond solitaire engagement ring featuring one beautiful 1.45 carat round brilliant natural (earth-mined) diamond with a VS2 clarity and I color. The diamond is set in a simple and classic 14 karat white gold four prong setting in a half-round profile band, which tapers very slightly to narrow at the back, allowing for comfortable wear.
This beautiful diamond is of a terrific size and lovely quality, facing up large and bright on the hand. The actual measurements of the stone are a range of 7.17-7.22mm in diameter and 4.49mm in depth. The girdle is inscribed with a Gemological Services International report number: GSI48869500102.
Diamonds with VS2 clarity have inclusions which are regarded as minor but visible below 10x power magnification (the standard at which diamonds are graded.) An I color diamond is in the "near-colorless" range.
This ring comes from an estate and has been worn previously. As someone who adores vintage and estate jewelry (my own wedding rings are estate pieces!) I consider it a great honor to give a second life to such beautiful jewels. It is wonderful for me to participate in the stewardship of finding loving homes for these pieces where new owners may enlist these jewels to continue to add to their own love stories and memories.
