Diamond Navette Dinner Ring

A stunning antique ring featuring fifteen round brilliant diamonds set in a 14 karat white gold setting within a navette, marquise or boat-shaped motif. The ring is centered with a trio of larger diamonds set in a smaller navette shape. Flanking this trio above, below and to either side are four additional diamond trios, set within ribbon-bow shaped galleries with delicate milgrain accents. This is such a lovely and striking ring! It features a comfortable low profile, perfect for everyday wear. Traditionally, a jewel like this would be called a “dinner ring,” a style meant to replace cocktail rings during the era of Prohibition. You can, of course, wear it beyond simply to dinner and parties. This could make a lovely alternative engagement ring or right hand ring.

Navette portion of ring measures 19.7mm tall and 13.9mm wide. Gallery of ring sits 7.3mm off finger. Shoulders of ring measure 2.6mm wide, tapering to 1.8mm wide at back of ring shank.

15 round brilliant diamonds with a total approximate weight of 1.11 carats, F-G in color and VS1-VS2 in clarity.
