A striking and handmade silver and red coral cross pendant, consisting of five elongated-pear shaped cabochons of coral set in sawtooth silver bezels. This piece has a large bail and is signed at the back "L. Laate Zuni SS" (sterling silver.) Zuni silversmiths are highly regarded for their ornate and precise use of delicately inlaid gems and the beautiful workmanship of the handmade silver settings in their jewelry. The cross is paired with an 18” sterling silver paperclip chain, which fastens with a spring ring style clasp.
