Connemara Marble Shamrock Brooch

An antique silver brooch depicting a lovely shamrock clover, with three leaves in the shape of hearts, each inlaid with a light green slab of Irish Connemara marble (the national gem of Ireland.) The stem of the shamrock is a curved silver wire, and the back of the brooch is a smooth polished silver, with a pin stem which fastens with a c-clasp style closure. This brooch has been freshly polished but some of the lovely patina (which silver jewelry naturally acquires over its lifetime) remains.
