An evocative and romantic vintage ring. The focal element is a large intaglio carving in an oval-shaped, slightly translucent red-orange carnelian tablet. The intaglio features the profile of a man’s head and shoulders with wings below and a laurel garland above. Bezel set within a silver setting, the shoulders and shank of the ring are ornamented with the most beautiful and ornate engraving depicting a pattern of flowers. This piece carries a strong sense of history and a lovely patina.

Top gallery (intaglio and silver bezel) measures 17.54mm tall and 14.72mm wide. Setting rises 4.17mm off the finger. At back of ring, narrowest part of ring shank measures 3.60mm.
