A vintage white gold ring featuring natural diamonds and synthetic colored gems in the form of the Order of the Eastern Star, a Masonic symbol. All diamonds are natural and Earth-mined.
The Order of the Eastern Star is a Masonic-affiliated fraternal organization open to both women and men, founded in the 19th century and rooted in biblical stories and teachings. Its five-pointed star emblem symbolizes five biblical heroines, each associated with a particular virtue.
The Colors and Points: Each of the five points features a specific color and a biblical heroine who represents a core virtue. Blue represents Adah and the virtues of fidelity and respect for a vow. Yellow represents Ruth and the virtues of constancy and devotion. White represents Esther and the virtues of purity, light, and joy. Green represents Martha and the virtues of hope and immortality. Red represents Electa and the virtues of love and fervency.
Center diamond is a 0.23 carat round brilliant cut diamond with G-H color and SI1 clarity. Accent diamonds have a total weight of 0.15 carats, G-H color and SI1-SI2 clarity.
Ring size 3.75 / UK size H. If needed, this ring may be sized either up or down a few sizes by your jeweler.
Shoulders of ring have a width of 1.5mm; back of shank measures 1.3mm.
Very good condition. Synthetic gems have abrasion in some places; blue synthetic stone has a chip.
