Black Onyx and Silver Earrings

A lovely pair of black onyx earrings. The onyx cabochons are nicely proportioned, with a nearly flat, but slightly convex face, and framed in textured silver bezels. Onyx is a member of the family chalcedony, which also includes agate, jasper, bloodstone, carnelian and chrysoprase. These are perfect, goes-with-everything earrings and a wonderful jewelry box staple.  The earrings have a post style setting and come with friction backs.

Excellent condition. These have been freshly polished but some natural patina (common with vintage and antique silver jewelry) remains.
