Azurite and malachite are two distinct copper carbonate gems that are rarely found growing together, yielding a visually stunning gemstone: a collage of the most vibrant and gorgeous earth tones. This striking pair of earrings features two oval-shaped cabochons of azurite malachite, each framed in a 14 karat yellow gold bezel with a rope texture at the outer edge of the setting. The colors displayed in the gems range from blue to green to coppery red (attributed to the “copper” in copper carbonate!) These earrings fasten with a lever back style catch closure.
