Aquamarine and Gold Ring

An antique ring featuring a beautiful oval shaped aquamarine gemstone set in rosy 10 karat gold. Aquamarine is the blue to blue-green variety of the mineral beryl and takes its name from the Latin words for “water of the sea.” Its clear, watery color has made it a particularly beloved gemstone, and it is also the birthstone for the month of March.

This ring features a softly colored aquamarine in a simple gold setting, with a low-profile gallery that allows the gemstone to remain the focus while keeping the ring comfortable to wear. The gem has a pleasing presence on the hand without overwhelming the delicate proportions of the setting.
