Agate and White Gold Navette Ring

A gracefully shaped Victorian-era ring featuring a central elongated navette- (or marquise-) shaped cabochon of agate, set in 10 karat white gold. The agate is very nearly transparent, with a gray body color (complemented by the white gold setting) and a moonstone-like sheen which gives it an almost otherworldly quality. Each tip of the stone is dotted with minute black inclusions typical of agate, and at one tip, wispy brown bands wind their way diagonally across the gem. The stone is set in a wide bezel setting, with forked shoulders that cradle the gallery gently on each side.

Navette agate in setting measures 25.10mm tall and 7.51mm wide. Setting rises 5.12mm off the finger. At back of ring, narrowest part of ring shank measures 1.81mm.
