Calling all Anglophiles! This pendant features a cutaway portrait of the late Queen Elizabeth II, from a ten pence coin. The portrait of the Queen is from her accession portraits, wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara (don’t you love a jewel with miniature jewels!) The date of the coin has been cut away and the back filed smooth. This particular portrait was the second official portrait of Elizabeth II depicted on coins, which were produced between 1968 and 1984. The portrait was designed by artist Arnold Machin.
