A gorgeous beaded opera-length necklace of deep blue lapis lazuli beads, strung on bright blue silk cord and fastening with a 14 karat gold clasp. Lapis lazuli is a hardstone gem treasured for the deep and vivid hues of blue in which it occurs. This necklace is a gorgeous example with extra large beads and beautiful length. The deep blue hued lapis beads are richly dappled with metallic pyrite inclusions, beautiful natural embellishments often found in this gemstone. Fastens with a yellow gold fishhook style clasp.
