Fortuna is the Roman goddess of fortune and all things luck, fate and chance. She is depicted in this necklace in a three dimensional fashion, with curling hair and a blindfold. The blindfold is meant to suggest that the goddess of luck (sometimes called Lady Luck) does not discriminate in how or to whom she delivers good fortune. This good luck charm is paired with an 18” sterling silver paperclip chain, which fastens with a spring ring style clasp. The pendant is freshly polished but some natural patina (common with vintage and antique silver jewelry) remains.
